ACE To Employment

About ACE

ACE To Employment is a careers, employability and talent consultancy supporting individuals and organisations across the UK, UAE and internationally.

We provide advice, careers and education support to empower individuals to recognise their strengths, explore their options and take informed next steps. Alongside this, we work with education providers, employers and public-sector organisations to strengthen guidance, develop relationships and create opportunities for progression.

Our work spans personalised guidance, employability, employer engagement, education–industry partnerships and independently commissioned research and strategic consultancy.

Meet Lionne C. Whitfield

Founder and Principal Consultant

People often tell me something about themselves and then dismiss it as “not worth mentioning”. It might be a hobby, a responsibility they carry, something they have taught themselves or a challenge they have overcome. I listen for those details, because they can reveal strengths and possibilities that someone hasn’t yet recognised in themselves.

My role is to bring those strengths into focus and empower people to see how they could use them in education, employment and their wider lives.

Over more than twenty years in careers and employability, I’ve supported people into jobs and courses, delivered programmes and worked towards demanding targets. Those achievements matter to me. So does the distance someone travels to reach them: attending a first interview after years outside employment, contributing to a workshop despite feeling anxious, or finding the confidence to explore an unfamiliar opportunity.

That understanding shapes the commitment I bring to every individual and every commission. I take time to understand what is needed, follow through on the detail and work patiently with the people involved. Whether I’m providing personal guidance, developing employer relationships or researching a service, I want the work to make a practical difference.

Through ACE, I bring that approach to individuals and families, and to the schools, universities, employers and organisations supporting their progression.
