ACE To Employment

Research, Insight & Strategy

Listen carefully. Understand what needs to change.

The people using a service hold valuable knowledge about how it works, where it falls short and what would make it more useful.

ACE helps organisations gather and interpret those perspectives, connect them with the commissioning brief and develop practical recommendations.

Research and strategic consultancy can be commissioned independently.

Research and consultation

Qualitative research, interviews and focus groups to explore needs, experiences and barriers to participation or progression.

The approach is tailored to the audience, with care taken to create an environment in which people feel heard and able to contribute.

Insight and service design

Turning participant and stakeholder feedback into findings that can inform new provision or improvements to existing support.

Reports connect what people have shared with the questions the organisation needs to address.

Evaluation

Reviewing experiences of delivery, identifying what participants and partners value, and exploring where provision could improve.

Evaluation scope and methods are agreed at the outset, with conclusions proportionate to the evidence gathered.

Strategy and recommendations

Practical recommendations to inform programme development, engagement, partnership working and future delivery.

From listening to practical recommendations

We begin by agreeing the questions your organisation needs to answer and the people whose experiences should inform the work.

An agreed commission can include interviews, focus groups, stakeholder consultation, review of existing provision and analysis of findings.

We bring the evidence together in a clear report, identifying themes and recommendations that can inform service design, programme development or future delivery.

Where evaluation is included, its scope and methods are agreed at the outset.

“Working recently with our care leavers to help design new support services, Lionne was able to produce a high-quality report to our brief in good time.”
